VAPRO MOTOHYPOID 85W-140 Multi-Purpose Gear Oil is manufactured from highly refined base oils and field-proven performance additives. These gear oil offers excellent chemical and thermal stability over a wide temperature range and optimum protection against wear and shock loads in transmissions and axles.
It is designed to provide excellent gear protection. It exceeds the latest requirements of gear and transmission manufacturers requiring API GL-5. The API GL-5 designation covers hypoid gears in passenger cars and lightduty trucks as well as heavy-duty trucks operating under high-speed/shock-load, high-speed/ low-torque and low-speed/high- torque conditions.
VAPRO MOTOHYPOID 85W-140 Multi-Purpose Gear Oil is fortified with additives to prevent rust and corrosion. It is blended with anti-foam to prevent wear caused by lubricant foaming and aeration. VAPRO MOTOHYPOID 85W-140 Multi-Purpose Gear Oil is compatible with seals and gaskets in automotive and truck components. This lubricant further provides excellent low-temperature protection in the pinion-drive bearing
channel. Many fleets change lubricants on a seasonal basis because of viscosity considerations. Thus, drain intervals may be shorter than necessary, causing increased oil and labour costs.
VAPRO MOTOHYPOID 85W-140 Multi-Purpose Gear Oil is recommended for use in differentials and manual transmissions in passenger cars and light trucks, as well as axles of heavy duty trucks and off-road equipment. Severe conditions in construction and off- road operations can drive axle oil temperatures over 300°F. It provides gear and bearing protection even under these severely stressed conditions. It should be noted that when
operating in such severe conditions, proper drain intervals are especially critical.
